EVENT COORDINATOR

POSITIONS: 1 x Full Time; 1 x Part Time

LOCATION: Bucharest (hybrid work schedule, balancing home and office work days); All-remote can be considered.  

LEVEL AND PROGRESSION: a Coordinator leads operational tasks with support from their Events Director and team. You can progress to an Executive level within the same function, or progress sideways to a role in another team for which you have transferable skills.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS: first, you will have an online meet with a member of our core team. Should you be successful, you will be asked to complete a technical test and, depending on the result, you will be invited for two video interviews: one competency, and one culture fit. YOU WILL...

  • Manage Tenis Partener & Tenis10 events in close collaboration with partner clubs, with different timelines concurrently, looking ahead and following up on critical timelines to ensure events take place according to plan and hold up to the standard of organisation we require. Coordinate all event support activities, such as event logistics, in close contact with our partners.

  • Be a part of the Events Team that covers the organisation of top tier events, either in full capacity or in support to the local organiser. You will travel and take part in events a couple of times per year. Traveling outside the country may be required as we grow.  

  • Be the first point of contact for our partners / clubs, providing general support and building engaging relationships on every interaction.

  • Provide an empathetic and high level of quality service in order to meet and exceed the expectations of our partners.

  • Demonstrate professionalism, timely support and effective communication.

  • Investigate and resolve complaints and feedback in a positive manner.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure business & team objectives are met. Report and document any kind of issues to the responsible departments / team members.

  • Actively suggest ways to improve internal procedures and processes.

  • Run special internal projects, such as sponsored events, with key objectives and deliverables.

  • Make every effort to support and positively reflect the MPG / Tenis Partener / Tenis10 brands to others.

  • Be an expert regarding company policies, tools and systems.

  • Perform other duties as required, to support the team in any off-role activities.

YOU HAVE...

  • Bachelor degree and Bi-lingual preferred. Strong command of English, verbally and in writing is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Basic, yet solid computer skills across Microsoft and Google Suites. Efficient and fast use of desktop applications.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires initiative, multitasking and the ability to be proactive is essential. Ideally, first experiences in working directly with clients and providing the highest level of service.

  • Strong Customer Service attitude, always keeping the customer in mind and communicating in a highly positive manner. Demonstrating confidence while using all different channels (Phone, Email, Chat, Facebook Direct Messenger).

  • Proven ability to deliver projects / responsibilities accurately, on time and with attention to detail.

  • The ability to understand and apply the technical aspects of organising events. Technical knowledge related to the organisation of tennis tournaments (draws, order of play etc.) is an advantage.

  • Class B driver’s license is an advantage.
